COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to promote best practice in relation to the application of handcuffs and Soft restraint kit as per Policy and Procedure, taking into account the Legal, Statutory, Ethical, and Moral obligations and Risks Associated.

CERTIFICATION

On completion delegates will have an understanding about the importance of the use of restraint kit and how it can minimize the potential risk of injuries. Delegates will learn how to safely apply mechanical restraint kit and how to safely remove them. Delegates will receive an NFPS level 2 certificate in the use of mechanical restraint kit.
